Gothic Weddings

With Sydney Celebrant Fiona King

Gothic Weddings, I’m not afraid of the dark!

Gothic Weddings are why I became a celebrant. Having always enjoyed the dark aesthetic my Goth credentials go back to my time working at Gallery Serpentine as a Designer and Production Manager in the early 2000’s

I can enhance the look of Gothic Wedding with lush black, purple, or burgundy velvet tablecloths and gorgeous large feather quills for signing. There’s plenty of dramatic black & Gallery Serpentine in my wardrobe to ensure I look the part.

If you’re wondering where in Sydney is a Gothic enough back drop for your wedding take a look at the Sydney Arts faculty at Callan Park, it has some great sandstone architecture and there is an old Victorian folly ‘Stone Circle” just in front of the buildings. Curzon Hall is the closest thing Sydney has to a Castle. The Church bar at Windsor is a great little location and Waverley Cemetery is open to Weddings. As a night owl I’m up for full moon Handfastings, Weddings or Elopements.

Preparation of Marriage Paperwork

As your celebrant I provide assistance with the paperwork that comes with planning your wedding. It is my job to create all relevant marriage documents and certificates plus register the marriage. Registered Marriage Celebrants in Sydney and across Australia have the same qualification, and it’s our job to ensure all the paperwork is completed to the satisfaction of the N.S.W Dept. of Birth Deaths & Marriages. Take a look at the ‘ Legals & Notice of Intent to Marry’ page. On this page you will find a list of paperwork you are required to provide me in order to register your marriage successfully.

Obligation free meetings are conducted at my home office in Glebe. We can have a chat bounce some ideas around and I am always happy to play some harp for you. If we move onto signing a Notice of Intent to Marry we have access to everything we need to complete paperwork.
